DESCRIPTION:Assists victims and witnesses of crimes who have been adversely affected by criminal acts. Refers victims to social service agencies for treatment of any problems. Informs witnesses of court settings and instructs on their appearances and duties. Provides information concerning the Texas Crime Victim's Compensation Act.
