INTAKE PROCEDURE:Appointments preferred; Walk-ins welcome, but recommended to call prior to arrival as office may close due to weather or other unforeseen situation. Email or call for appointments.
DESCRIPTION:Provides outpatient mental health services for all ages and a low-cost medication clinic under the supervision of a psychiatrist. Services can be provided in person or virtually. Services include:. Psychosocial and medical history assessments. Emergency medication administration. Short-term prescriptions. Connecting patients to more permanent medical home and outpatient psychiatric treatment. Social services. Safety planning. Brief crisis counseling and brief solution-focused intervention. Short term follow-up. Connecting patient to resources in the communityNarcotics, stimulants and benzodiazepines are not prescribed at these facilities. Substance abuse is not treated at the clinic. Information on referral resources for chemical dependency treatment is available.
ELIGIBILITY:Open to children and adults in a crisis situation or who are unable to follow up with other outpatient providers for mental health needs
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:Completed intake. Valid identification, other documents will be discussed during intake
FEES:No cost to uninsured if individual is low income;Accepts most Medicaid plans and most private insurance plans
