DESCRIPTION:Houston Humane Society is an open admission facility. Each animal is evaluated on age, health, and temperament. Once an animal has been placed up for adoption there is no time limit, an animal may stay up for adoption as long as it takes to find a forever home as long as they stay healthy. HHS provides on-site adoptions and adoption outreach programs. Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, feline leukemia and occult heartworm test, rabies vaccination, tattoo, first set of shots, worming, and a microchip.
